I have 2005 Silverado 6.0 v8 dual exhaust. Somehow it keeps breaking the passenger side exhaust manifold right in half. Both shops that I have taken it to said they have never seen a manifold actually break in half, but they have no solution. Is there somehow too much pressure on the manifold?

If the manifold is not installed properly and torqued down in the correct sequence, they will crack. You can either get another stock manifold and have it installed by someone who knows the correct way to do it or get a set of plate mounted headers (after market) that are more forgiving in their installation.
