Hi Scotty,
I have a 2005 V6 2WD Toyota 4Runner Sport with 207K miles. It has an automatic transmission and unfortunately I have never had the transmission serviced or fluid changed. Multiple techs over the years have told me I don’t need to change the fluid…
It still runs great and I plan to drive it as long as possible. Do I get the transmission serviced at this point? Will that make things worse? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Thank you,
-Ryan

That many miles I would not chance changing it but I would take the fluid out during the pan replace the filter then put the old fluid back in and just strain out if there's any clumps
Thank you!
