Hey Scotty enjoy your work. I have a 2005 Uplander over heating when going up hills. Coolant has been flushed, thermostat replaced and system has been bled. Why is it doing this? Also the van has 163k and trany slips. Is it worth replacing the trany?

Your 17-year-old radiator may be clogged or your cooling fan(s) may not be working. It is not worth replacing the transmission.

If you can find another reliable vehicle within your budget, now would be the time to dump this vehicle..
