Looking for a used car for my 18-year-old son. 2006 Camry 4 cylinder that had the engine rebuilt by Toyota at 110,000 miles, currently has 165,000 miles. What should I look for or that even worth looking at? Owner is asking $6,000.

It's unusual for a Toyota engine to require rebuilding at that mileage. The car may have been very poorly maintained. You have to wonder what the transmission fluid looks like. Is there paperwork that verifies the engine was actually rebuilt by Toyota? Is it a 2.4L 2AZ-FE oil burner? (If actually rebuilt properly that problem should have been fixed.)
Have a good mechanic check out any used car before purchase.
