I have an automatic 2006 dodge Dakota with 194k miles and it has a tick, the guy said it has new rod bearings piston rings and a bunch more other stuff but it has a tick that gets quiet when it shifts into second and I was wondering if it could possibly be an exaust manifold leak and how many more miles I could gout out of it

You should pinpoint the noise. Does it come from the engine or transmission or exhaust?
