Hey Scotty
My question is if you would recommend a GM truck which year range would you recommend?
I'm looking forward to buy a 99-02

Chevy or GM 3/4 ton with either an LQ4 or LQ9 engine. I would look at 2002-2007 but nothing newer than that.

Those were pretty well made a lot better than the new ones but keep in mind you are talking about 2 decade old trucks. I wouldn't pay much. Up to around mid 2000s and before were the better made ones.

2000-2005 Silverado's were good, just watch what you pay for it.

ONLY GM made vehicle to buy in those early 2000 yrs is a LBZ 6.6 Duramax diesel paired with the true Allison transmission.
