Hello,
I have a 2006 5.7 Hemi Ram 1500. The truck would not start so I replaced the in tank fuel pump. Truck fired right up. About 4 days later the truck (usually when cold) would just crank. After a few tries it would fire up. I then got an EVAP Code. I again replaced the fuel pump thinking I might have a defective pump and pinched the o-ring. The truck did the exact same thing and the code did not stay clear.
Clarification: Mileage? Can you list the exact P code or codes, along with freeze frame data?

The EVAP code is letting you know the purge valve is not working. Has nothing to do with the fuel pump. Did you get a new fuel filter too?
