Hey guys, looking at a 2006 F-150 CrewCab Lariat with 80,000 miles at a dealership. It has the 5.4L Triton V8 and is 2WD. I have an 07 XLT with the 5.4L and 166k miles that's never left me stranded right now. I would have a mechanic check this truck out but is $12k a fair price for the Lariat? It's a little older but I would buy it for a secondary truck as the prices of new F-150's are insanely high. Thanks for any input.

have you tried searching the forum for "triton". I'm pretty sure we get this question a lot.
