Scotty, I bought a 2006 Ford 500 limited new, it has about 175,000 miles now. Mechanically, it's been a pretty good car. I keep it maintained. My question is, I have the Asin 6- speed automatic transmission, I've had the fluid changed several times in it. But, I found out their only pumping it out, and not draining the transmission by dropping the pan and changing the filter. Do you think I should find a mechanic that would drop the transmission pan, and change the fluid and filter both ? Thank you, John. G.

Probably a good idea to get out gunk at the bottom of the pan and replace the filter.
