I found one with an interior that looks good as new, it has 98,350 miles on it and the seller is only asking $1,999 for it. Is it a good deal for a backup car that I will probably drive less than 10,000 miles a year?
They weren't great cars but they were okay. If all you need it for is a backup car then it should be a good choice.
Usually they have tons of miles are overpriced and in horrific shape but yours is not the case for a backup car it could be fine as long as you have a mechanic check it out before you buy it. The weakest point was the transmission. The transmission was just weak so have that checked out by your mechanic.
