Hi all,
My friend has a question regarding his 2006 key fob. He has the original key and the battery fob controls if the unlock/lock/trunk feature. His case is all cracked the hell up. Can they just buy a new plastic key case from Amazon and slap the old parts in there without any sort of reprogramming? I figured yes he could absolutely do so, but I'd like to be sure before trying it. Thank you all. Hope you have a safe and happy 4th

If the plastic case is damaged, then yes you can buy a new case and put the original parts back in.
