2006 Honda Odyssey Hot Air Passengers Side and Cold on the Drivers Side

I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L without RES or Navigation with a little over 200,000 miles with a automatic transmission. A few weeks ago on the two passenger side vents it started to blow extremely hot air. While all the other vents were blowing the right temperature of air. I did check and the passengers side climate zone was set the same as the drivers side. I took it to my local Honda dealer and they did not find a problem but they said I needed a new timing belt and a new cabin air filter. I paid for the cabin air filter since I haven’t changed that for awhile. When I went to pick up my car they explained to me how my tri-zone climate control works. Even though I have had that car for over 15 years. But somehow it was fixed and it has worked ever since. They probably didn’t know what it was and just hit something back in place knowing how dealerships work they would have charged me extra if they knew what it was. So any ideas on what it could be. I know it’s definitely not the compressor or the Freon because I replaced the compressor less than two years ago and the Freon was recharged at the same time. Also I just replaced my timing belt last December so do you think I need a new timing belt as well?

New timing belt less than a year ago?  You don't need a new one yet.
