Hello, I’m searching for a car for my parents. They are interested in a 2006 Impala LT with the 3.9 OHV V6. The car looks good, apparently it has 88k miles and they are asking $2500 for it. Also, I saw a 2007 Malibu LT with the 3.5 OHV V6 with 112k miles. The price is a bit higher ($3000), but it is in nice shape. I’m not sure if they are good options. I’d appreciate what do you think about. Thanks.

Is this a private party or dealership?
Test drive the vehicles, have a mechanic look it over and confirm that the mileage is exact.
If you could lower the price on the Impala to 2k, you could live with it.
Also if this was highway mileage, then it shouldn't be a terrible choice.
