[Solved] 2006 Lexus ES 330 transmission and timing belt

Hi Scotty,

I just bought a 2006 Lexus ES 330 with 100k miles and the transmission shifts a little rough here and there. Should I use the Lucas transmission fix? Also, I don't think the timing belt has ever been replaced. I would think it's time to replace it correct? I drive back and forth from FL and NY and want it to be reliable.

When was the last time you changed the ATF?

About the timing belt, it is time to change it if it has not been done yet.

I just bought the car three weeks ago and haven't changed anything other than an oil change yesterday. I don't know when or if the ATF has ever been changed. I just want to take care of everything before I drive out of state. Some people say not to mess with the transmission fluid while others say to drain it. Thanks for your reply.
