Hi ya Scotty, I just bought a 2018 Rav4 with 53,000 miles, it has 54,000 miles now but Im wondering where to take it for a Transmission fluid change. Id like to do it myself but its just too complicated. Should I take it to the dealer since theyd use toyota fluid or should I take it someplace else. Thanks love the channel, I watch all your videos!
It’s only every 30-40 k miles. Just don’t let the dealer talk you into a transmission flush. Swap fluid and filter, good to go.
The fluid hasnt ever been changed to my knowledge so i want to change it soon. I figured getting it done at the dealer would be ok but wanted a second opinion
