Scotty, I have 2006 Pontiac Torrent 3.4L V-6 with ABS, with 134,000 miles on it. I noticed a grinding noise when stopping a few months ago. My shop told me it was a bad wheel bearing and speed sensor. There where no codes. Well now it’s had 3 different wheel bearings installed. Each one failed and the noise came back within a few weeks. Any idea what could cause these all to go bad? The shop used Moog and AC Delco parts.

something could be putting unusual stress on the bearing, like out-of-alignment suspension, worn out steering parts, etc.

Substandard parts and/or substandard workmanship. I would find another mechanic.
Thx for the advice
