I own a 87’ Pontiac firebird. It’s an automatic, and it’s a formula. Is noticed that when I spit the car in drive and/ or reverse the oil pressure and voltage drop down a good amount. If it’s dark and raining and I have headlights and windshield wipers going and the defroster on they both drop significantly but go back up when I’m driving and the rpm’s increase as well I’ve changed the alternator cause some one said that’s the problem but unfortunately I’m still having the same issue I was hoping for a suggestion or anything really that just might find the problem or what’s causing this issue

Make sure all your grounding connections are clean and tight. Have the alternator tested for proper output at idle, approximately 14.5 volts.
