My daughters car has over 150,000 miles. We've had zero problems. But being that it is 15 years old has a 1.5 liter engine, I am wondering if we should ditch it before the problems start.
TIA

With the used car market as volatile as it is right now, I'm sure you could sell that pretty fast if it is somewhat nice.
But then again, you've been driving an Xa for 150,000 miles... Why stop now?
I would keep driving it until it requires a chunk of money into it. Then sell it. You won't get much anyways for that car, but it has the potential to go another 50-100K miles problem-free. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
What problems? Look at the condition. How is the body? How is the engine running? Has it been costing you a lot of money?
As for the condition of the suspension and stuff like that... if you don't know what to look for, then have a mechanic look at it and tell you what he thinks it will need in the near future.
Those cars can last forever. I would keep it.
No, you shouldn't unless you wanted to get a decent amount of money for the car. You should realize that Scion is Toyota. They share a lot of Toyota parts. Keep that in mind.
