Hey Scotty, my mother has a 2006 Toyota Sienna (automatic and V6 engine) with over 230k miles. Sometimes, the front wheels make a repetitive squeaking noise( sometimes the left sometimes the right sometimes both). They usually make that noise when we are going at low speeds and rarely at high speeds (and I’m pretty sure when there is “pressure” applied to the car, like turning, braking and accelerating). However, they don’t make a single squeak when it’s raining. We recently replaced the brake pads( like in the spring) and the wheels didn’t make a single squeak until like 2-3 weeks ago(August 1st as of the date of this message). The mechanic told us that it’s the braking pads that need replacing, but we are not too sure, since the pads were pretty good quality(not the cheap Chinese ones). What do we do?
Yeah I would
Sorry about that the last post turned itself up too fast. I would assume it's the brake pads cuz cheap brake pads have a coating on them they won't make a noise for a little while but once the coating wears off they make the noise try akebono pads they never make noise
