I have a 2006 Subaru Outback 2.5i with 193k miles throwing a p0172 (System too rich bank 1) and p0420 (Low cat efficiency). The spark plugs and wires are new (>10k miles) as well as the air filter. MAF is reading fine. I'm thinking its the upstream A/F sensor, but I'm not 100% sure. What would be the next steps to diagnose this issue? What do you think about these two codes being related? Thanks.

Clean the injectors and fill up couple times with higher octane gas from Shell.
