Hey Scotty!! I have a 2006 Toyota Matrix XR AWD that makes a noise while driving at all speeds. It starts off as a wobble-like noise, and gradually gets louder with speed and almost an unbearable howling at 80. Tires have been rotated and both front wheel bearings were replaced. Also, the guy I bought it off of (a great and honest mechanic like yourself) rebuilt the transmission and the differential/gear box that connects the drive shaft to the rear axle. It sounds like it's coming from right underneath the driver's side, and if I put both feet on the floor while coasting, I can feel it. Both CV axle boots are intact and not torn open, or losing grease. The car runs, shifts, and drives great, but the noise is driving me crazy, any ideas? Thanks in advance, I made and attached a YouTube video, hope it helps.

How old are the tyres on this vehicle?
The tires are less than a year old
Now from where that noise comes from I would assume the guy did not rebuilt the engine and. To figure this out for sure do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty. With the machine hooked up like that any fool can find the source of any noise. Then of course the trick is to fix it but you have to pinpoint it exactly is one of those machines
