Hey, Scotty I have a 2006 automatic Toyota Tacoma SR5 Access Cab 4.0 L V6. 145,000 miles. Bought it a year and a half ago with 123,000 miles from Facebook Market completely taken care of with no issues. Within the first week, I've had Toyota Dealer do a full inspection and found no issues. My first pickup truck and I absolutely love it. Recently the engine started sounding louder when going of 25 MPH. There is no change in the driving experience, no vibrations, no lose in power, I can just here the engine louder when going over 25 MPH. I used a Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool and got no codes. I plan on having it inspected by my local mechanic shop soon. If they don't find anything, I am driving from Chicago to you! I've done regular oil changes every 5k, since I've bought the truck, I've changed the spark plugs, serpentine belt, tires, front rotors. Why would an engine sound louder when hitting 25 MPH? I just hope it not in the thousands to repair this because I would hate letting go of this truck. I'm not mechanically inclined but, the repairs with this truck are so easy and simple! I've learned so much.

Thanks!

Sure if they can't figure it out feel free to bring it to Clarksville I'm here till April. It could be a transmission dragging problem haven't checked that first
