2007 Acura MDX Transmission Fluid/Filter

2 Part Question.

Bought a 2007 Acura MDX with 220k miles and am going through all of the fluid changes. Previous owner bought at 160k miles. They said they did not change the transmission fluid. Original Transmission with 220k miles, and shifts okay. The fluid is clear and red. Should I start doing religious scheduled transmission fluid changes, or leave it be? I understand that once a transmission has gotten this far and you don't know if it was maintained meticulously, it may not be a good idea to change the fluid. But since it is clear and red, I would like to know.

Also, from research it seems like the tranny filter is internal and I do not know if I should attempt changing the filter. I don't want to pay the dealer/mechanic to do this if it is not necessary. Am I fine to leave the filter be or is it a must to change it at this point? I have not checked to see if there are metal shavings on the drain plug as I do not want to take that off until I know if I should change the fluid or not.

No the car has too many miles on it now and if you change it now your just asking for problems if its working fine as is. Don't mess with it.
