Hi Scotty and team!
I've come across an old Audi S4 online that has a manual transmission. The car has 185K miles on it (!!) and is being offered for $7495. Now the only reason I'm even considering this car is because I had an old (100K+) Audi 90 Quattro when I was in college and I loved it. I had to get rid of it though when my brother crashed it into a hill.
After doing some research on these cars though, I found that the timing chain tensioners are prone to failure because they're made of plastic AND the timing chain is buried WAAAY at the back of the engine near the firewall. I'm very close to talking myself out of buying this....
Anyway my question is, after watching your videos I want to know what you'd recommend in the Lexus family that is comparable to an Audi S4? I'm definitely looking used, 4-door sedan and ideally would be AWD.
Thanks!
- Don't buy it there endless money pits. Any Lexus is better than those things but I would still stay away from a hybrid Lexus they get expensive as they age
