My 2007 BMW 325i convertible has intermittent issues with the power window (and mirror) controls on the driver’s side. The widows go down when the roof is retracted, so the regulator seems to be good. Also, at least some of the wiring must be okay… what could it be and how do I fix it (or what kind of mechanic do I need to find)? I live in Charlotte, N.C. thanks in advance!
Well a lot of times it's just a bad switch on the driver side. When you use the convertible top it doesn't need to switch. It has its own system to make the windows go down
@scottykilmer I’ve replaced the switch with a new one, and it didn’t make a difference. I guess it could also be bad. But I saw a video showing how it could be a component in the mirror itself that’s causing a communication problem to the switch, so I’m going to get one from a junkyard just to see
