Scotty,
I bought a one owner, 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV last month with only 95k miles on her. She is a beautiful vehicle that came with all the maintenance and repair records. The previous owner babied her. I would say, for a 13 year old SUV, she is 90% perfect. But, recently, I noticed that before it warms up, the idle will fluctuate between 600 & 800 RPM and it will actually draw power from the electrical system. When the RPM drops, the lights will dim. But with that, the idle is not rough. Once I drive it and it the temp gets to normal operating range it's fine. There are no codes and it will not do it for my mechanic. I'm just curious what you think.
PS. I bought it before I saw your youtube about this Cadillac. I'm still glad I bought it.
Thank you,
Start with the MAF sensor and ICV. These cars get expensive when they get to a bit higher mileage (~100k miles), so watch for that.
