I have a 2007 Jeep Compass with 150k on it. Can up with the code for bad crankshaft position sensor. I changed that and now I get PO315 no crank sensor learned and PO339 crankshaft position sensor intermittent. I did what people on you tube said take it up to 70 and coast down. Didn’t work then another youtube Channel used a $$$ scan tool and relearned the cps. Since my $150 scan tool doesn’t have that function I took it into a shop. He said he couldn’t find a relearn procedure for my car. Should I go to another mechanic? Or was he right... he did reset the whole PCM to default. That lasted 15 miles till the codes cam back. I also get multiple cylinders misfire when the check engine light comes on. Please help can’t afford a used car right now prices are outrageous!!!!
that may be a dealer specific calibration which isn’t unheard of.. otherwise I would try and make sure an oem sensor was used.. I’ve never had good experiences with aftermarket electronics like that
