Hello Scotty, I have had this Jeep since new and I did regular-ish maintenance to it for the past 13 years and I know how Chrysler usually have issues by now but I have had none, what should I do to keep it running? I want to give it to my son in a couple years to drive. Lastly, the clear coat has faded and peeled of the hood but it’s not severe and I was wondering if you knew anyways of fixing that. It has the 3.7L V6

That's why the clear coat you could buff it all down and then it will be flat then have it re-clear coated that's just clear it's not a color the color is underneath the clear coat makes it shine so either buff it down or pay a guy to buff it and see if they can clear coat it.and ask for making it last hey you're doing a good job keep doing what you're doing change the oil regularly service the transmission fluid and filter and generally don't beat it some guys beat them too much and that's why they fall apart faster
