Hello Scotty and other mechanics I have a 2007 Kia Sportage (front-wheel drive, 2.0L 4, 4 speed auto) with approximately 204,000 miles. My problem is it loses oil, at first, just a little bit, but now about a quart a week, but there's no puddles or obvious signs of leaking. I'm thinking the oil pan gasket or rear main seal, as there is a small film of oil at the engine transmission junction and running down one corner of the oil pan. I have a couple of pictures of the potential leaks I could send, or attach. All I need to know is where the leak might be coming from. Thanks in advance.

If the oil was leaking a quart a week, you would see a puddle under the car. The oil is burning, probably due to the low tension piston rings they used.
