Hello guys me once and once again lol umm my ol lady car i changed the brake pads brake caliper cause before the car the brake caliper would stick so me being cheap i went to the local pull a part junk yard grabbed 2 rear brake calipers everything on the caliper is fine i greased the guide pins made sure the piston inside the caliper moves in and out i bleed the rear brakes upon changing them and the rear pads got sticking again while driving anybody knows of this issue with this rag??? Any help would be helpful thanks
Is the caliper sticking or the emergency brake since that is a separate drum style inside the rotor
I just went to the store right down the road and it felt like it wanted to lock up again and you right my wife usually set her emergency brakes on step hills but never have her issues its this sticking issuse??
junkyard calipers aren't worth it , when reman is so cheap
You might need to change your flex rubber brake lines.
I believe that's the problem to cause the calipers work good but she plans on getting brand new ones and ima take them junkyard calipers back but how would you know if it's the rubber brake line right by the caliper??
they age, rot, and collapse inside, causing brakes to drag.
Thanks mountain man that was her problem i took the rear brake hose off the caliper and no fluid was dripping from the hose so i suspect it's collapse causing the drag on the brakes thanks alot Joe
