I'm considering a 1999 Honda Accord for my first car. I need a daily A to B commuter.
The car has 108k miles on it, it has a V6 engine, and a rusted subframe which won't pass inspection in my state. The seller is asking $1200.
Is this a reasonable buy? Or are there any major problems with this model that I might wan't to avoid.

It depends on the area you are in and how much it would cost to fix it.
I recommend finding comparisons of the Accord in the area. And finding out how much it would cost.
If the (desired car + the repair) <<= (comparisons), then it is definitely not worth it.
In my area, it doesn't seem to be worth it.
