Hey Scotty I have a 2007 Subaru Outback and for some reason only when i idle the door shakes and makes a rattling sound but doesn’t do it when vehicle is driving what could it be.

If you are feeling excessive engine vibration at idle your engine mounts or transmission mount could be shot. You'd have to open up the door panel to see what's making the rattling sound.

Check the motor/transmission mounts. Adjust your door strike plate/hinges as necessary.
