I have 2008 Acura TL And the other day my starter shorted out when my car was on and when my starter shorted out The power had nowhere to go so my negative terminal was really hot and it was smoking from the starter. I changed my starter and now my car starts but there electrical problems going on. my car was perfectly fine before it shorted out but now the power steering doesn’t work, radio doesn’t turn on, all dash lights are on, and doesn’t go into reverse. It having bunch of electrical problems from that starter shorting out and I can’t really pin point the problem. Does anyone have idea what it might be or what to check??
Realize the start of texting immense amount of power and when it's shorted out that power shorted from that wire right back to the fuse box and relays I would check there first to see if other fuses are blown and if any relays were melted
