I've doing research for what may seem to be the problem on both cars I have, the van in particular; Yesterday I noticed a rainbow fluid (it was raining) coming down my drive way before i left to get my kids from school. I then noticed it was really hard to turn thinking it may need power sterring fluid, but it usually makes a noise when it needs it. I bought some fluid and noticed it didnt hold and just leaked through. What would I need to do? I am waiting on our mechanic, in the meantime I thought I'd get another opinion.Could it maybe be something more? Or can i use one of those stop fluid leaks? The power steering system uses very high pressure and most of them time those stop leak products don’t work. You need a new pro to diagnose the system.
