I have 2008 Chysler Town and Country. The only problem i had with it was the plastic Y cracked for the heater hose assembly. I looked at the name plate under the hood it says Dimler Chysler and it was made in Canada. Dose that make it a better Chysler?

Scotty has discussed this recently: Daimler improved Chrysler, albeit somewhat marginally. Daimler sold to a holding company (equity finance company, most likely). They weren't car people, just more interested in milking the corporation and ultimately flipping it to Fiat. It's now Fiat, Chrysler and Peugeot, the renamed Stellantis. Scotty calls the motley trinity "The Three Stooges of Car Manufacturing."
So, yes, a Daimler part indicates a somewhat better quality. But the entire T&C line gets, as Rodney Dangerfield famously uttered, repeatedly, "No Respect, No Respect," from mechanics.
The holding company that owned Chrysler was Cerberus.
It’s splitting hairs as the vehicle is still a poor design. I’ve never been a fan of them.
It makes it a better Chrysler but it is still horrible. I wouldn't bother splitting those hairs.
