I have a 2008 Corvette. Last week I was getting off from work, the car would not start. I put in a new battery and every time I pushed the start button all the gages would just drop off like someone just unplugged the battery. Then after a few seconds they would come back up again. Of course the starter would not turn at all.
I ordered a new ignition switch and waiting for it to arrive soon. Will that fix the issue or is there something else wrong.
By the way, I love your videos. They are very informative and fun to watch.

A ton of electrical connections in that car. It could be any number of things but if replacing the switch doesn't work I would start checking for a loose connection in the dash going to the instrument cluster.
Well pretty significant switch but the way those power goes it could easily be a loose connection somewhere between the battery and the starter
