OEM or aftermarket?
Is the outer plastic lens faded or are they smashed/broken?
Faded. We’ve tried polishing and added bright LED lamps but we still do not get great light out them.
The 2008 came with projectors. So as long as you find a good quality aftermarket assembly, it should be fine.
PS. Don’t buy the cheapest made in China unit which you come across.
After market.
You should be able to find a quality aftermarket unit cheaper than an oem unit.

If you want to save some cash, and have access to a good car modification shop, try finding new plastic headlight lens from the aftermarket. That way, you retain your OEM headlight assembly internals, but with the benefit of brand new looking lenses.
You need to find a good place to get this done though, as a botched job will leave you with water entering the headlight assemblies.
