My brother has a 2008 Dodge Avenger. It has a P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire and a P0128 code (Thermostat Rationality) the vehicle does not take off well it hesitates to go from idle to drive. Are these codes related? The vehicle DOES NOT GET HOT IT STAYS IN THE MIDDLE. What should I start to pinpoint the problem?

Heck I changed the thermostat I'd also change the ignition coil on number one and see if that fixes it
