Truck started sputtering and check engine light came on this morning. 176 thousand miles. Never had any problems. Don't know what it could be. Sunday nobody's open. Please help.

Have you checked all the most simple and basic stuff already?

Air, fuel, spark. All the chain stores that have free code readers are open on Sundays. Go see them.
