So I have a 2008 Ford Explorer XLT, 6 cylinder and it won’t start. We at first thought it was the battery but then when we got it jumped the engine would keep running but all the lights and anything electrical shuts off. All while the engine is still running, we replaced the battery for a new one but it did the same thing, what could this problem be? Perhaps the alternator?

It is most likely the alternator. Take it to an automotive parts store and have them test it for free.
