2008 Honda Civic LX Manual 150,000 Miles
I have 2 questions regarding my '08 Civic manual with 150,000 miles on it.
When at idle, especially when the ac is on, the engine vibrates the car a lot. I wouldn't call it a rattle, and it isn't making any noises, the car just shakes/vibrates a decent amount. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about?
Also, I'm mainly a highway commuter to school and work, and highway traffic near me is usually 80-90mph. When I'm going 70mph, the rpms are at 3K when in 5th gear. 80mph is more like 4K rpms. Is it safe to travel at these speeds even though the engine is revving so high? Is the engine even supposed to rev this high at those speeds or is something wrong?

When was the last time you had the valves adjusted and a complete tune up?

Sounds completely normal for a 1.8L at that speed, in 5th gear.
