Hi, Scott tires of getting ripped off. My 2008 Honda ex-l v6 Sedan seems great however dealer says oil leaking or burning well that was over 10 or yes ago. Depending on where I go some don't mention ans wanted me to sell the car to them for like 700dls saying engine bad . Well it's 2023 still have it engine light been on forever can I use stop leak or something to seal up any leaks. I have an excellent body and no other problem hate to give rhis up or get scammed.
How badly does it leak? It may be something as simple as valve cover gaskets. If it's the same set of gaskets after almost 15 years, it's time for new ones. You need a scan tool to read codes. They can be had for $100 if you want a fairly basic scan tool with ABS capability.
