My dad has a 2008 Lexus gx470 with 155,000 miles his alternator went out in November and he went to the dealership and got it replaced (he is friends with the mechanic) he was driving to work the other day and right as he pulled out of the driveway the car shut off and won’t start it won’t even crank what are your thoughts

Load test the battery and alternator. You might have a bad battery.
Thank you I was thinking it could be that but usually when I get a Bad battery It will still crank
