2008 Nissan Pathfinder V6: Crank No Start

My fathers V6 2008 Nissan Pathfinder has 84k Miles(1 owner) and has a crank no start. This car has been babied for its whole life. Its been always serviced at the dealer and has low mileage. The car was running perfectly and we turned it off for 20 seconds. When we tried to turn it back on it just kept cranking. I checked all fuses and relays and they were all perfectly fine. We tried turning it on with starting fluid and that did nothing. When I connect my scan tool it says no communication. Something that I did notice is that when you put the key in the running position the radiator fan starts blasting, which makes no sense to me because the car was never extremely hot. What can it be ?

The fans blowing on key on engine off would generally indicate a loss of communication with the ecm or an ecm ground problem.  Those years I believe had a recall for the ecm relay in the ipdm behind the battery closer to the firewall and that would be the cheapest option to look into first otherwise it sounds like you could be looking at a shorted ecm
