Hey Scotty....looking at a 2008 Nissan Xterra ( 149,000 miles and automatic) that has the VDC and Slip lights on. Is this a major fix or something that can be fixed relatively inexpensive?
With that many miles, research VDC and slip lights relating to that particular car. Me personally- I would look at something else.
I have an 08 xterra
Typically those warnings illuminate when the battery has been disconnected
The reset procedure is drive at a constant 20-30 without turning your wheel
Its spelled out in the owners manual
As far as longevity, I believe my X will easily hit the 250k mark
I take care of it (fluids etc) and dont abuse it

Thanks.....getting a P0021 code on it also. I can't find any good solutions for this code. Have you experienced this code?
