Hello all!
I am interested in a 2008 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with 142K miles. All things being equal, is that a pretty good price for a ~12 year old 4Runner? The engine looks clean, the interior is in really good shape, and there doesn't appear to be any rust on the underside (although I haven't gotten it up on a rack yet). Thanks for your time and attention!
@tommyk
hire a mechanic to check everything, you must do a compression test
you dont want a new car that burns any oil, any car is good as long as maintenance has been kept up to date. unfortunately nobody really does that and dont care. new car doesnt mean they are better, it means you will need to keep up with maintenance more frequently, thats what counts, toyota 4 runner is good car, avoid the awd all wheel drive, they are expensive to repair

Thank you for the quick, thorough reply!
Arg! I just realized that I forgot to post the price! they want $9,995 for it.
Definitely put it in the air and check everything underneath. If it’s not a rust bucket, you’re safe.
