Hey Scotty hope all is well pal, I have a 08 VW Jetta with just over 230,000kms on it. Slipping and jerking from 2nd to 3rd gear, as you know VW parts are extremely expensive so I'd like to know what you'd be able to recommend me to do, should I get the transmission fluid looked at first?

Most probably the transmission is going out, try adding the Lucas stops slip or transmission fix oil that Scotty recommends in his videos it might help.

It mainly only happens from accelerating from a stop light or stop sign, other than that it drives fine. Will try that, thank you.
