I personally like the look of that generation Accord, so I’d go with that. But you can’t go wrong with either choice.
im not to fond of the current generation of Accord.

Accord. 2007-2014 Camry's have very low quality the transmissions are bulletproof but older Camry's are much better these are cheaply made at least the Accord is a 4 cylinder and a manuel fun fuel efficient and better to drive both are reliable just snatch the Accord.

Yes they do. They were exellent vehicles in 2005 and 2006, but in 2007 the quality was down a lot. First of all, the engines were junk. The 4 cylinders burned oil like mad. I have experience, my friend has experience, adn Scotty's son has experience. They were made in US not Japan and had a ton of issues. The interior quality was also down platic everywhere and was not the "over-built" sense you would get in previous generations. It was pretty bad. For the same price I would buy a 2006 XLE v6 loaded in grat condition low miles, while you would get a lower quality oil burning 2007 base model with tons of miles. I would say 2012 helped, but the interior trim pieces are also junk seatbelts dont even work half the time the safety ratings are really bad. The only years I would buy is 2006 and before, and 2017-2016, 2019+
The Camry's used to be rated as the most reliable cars but in 2007 in consumer survey's the amount of issues and the severities brought the car 'below average." I would get a Accord in the 2007+ years.
Thanks - do you think that analysis also holds for Avalon of the same years? I am looking at a few of those also.
2005+ Avalon's are bulletproof. They dont have issues. Very luxurious. If you dont mind the size consider the 2005-2011 Avalon. THat is more luxurious. If you want sporty and luxurious, consider the Acura TL, which is basically a sportier and luxurious Honda.
