2009 Corolla 110,000 miles 1.8 5spd. I got a U0100 code showing up on my Bluedriver app. No check engine light. From your experience will this most likely end up with a new ECM?

Clarification: is the vehicle starting up and running fine? And no other codes are present?

Car runs fine. MPG is right around 38 on the highway where it's always been. I had a check engine light on for a few hours but it went out on its own. I was going to replace the coil for the #3 cylinder because of the P0353. I have noticed a few times in the past few months I got a stumble after I put the car in neutral coasting to a stop sign.

Is there a history of ECM failures on Toyota?

History of ECU or PCM failures with Toyota? - no, not really. The probability is not 0% either but it’s uncommon. Check those links and rule out something simple like wires/connections/also reset the code and see if it ever comes back (maybe it’s intermittent or one time thing).

Excellent I'll give these a look over with the DMM and check the wiring.
