I love watching your videos. We have a 2009 Chevy Equinox LS 3 4 6 cyl AWD suv...lately the Service Stabiltrak light has been coming on then reduced engine power . I habe replaced the egr valve twice per mechanic and his scan tool saying egr valve was bad. But im still getting service stabilitrak. I was wondering if you could tell me how i can find the problem causing this so we can get it fixed .a mechanic told me to unhook. Negative side battery cable for a couple minutes and put them back on and it would reset everything which it does .i am having a right front wheel bearing replaced this week .can you email me back at < removed > ..thanks Scotty. The EGR valve of course has nothing to do with Stabilitrak.

You need to find a mechanic with a sufficiently advanced scan tool to troubleshoot the Stabilitrak system.
you would think so, but these systems have all kinds of unexpected interdependencies, and get disabled when the computer isn't certain that the engine isn't running 100%, or won't behave as expected. I have seen engine problems trigger these warnings before. Either way, it needs to be scanned.
True enough, so many systems are interconnected.
